Jesse and Deanna (hope I am spelling correctly) at the office desk at this store are great!! I went there because my tire was damaged due to a pothole and they took care of my tires and when I went back with a question, they were quick to help and explain things to me in detail! I would highly recommend this store to others!!! Thank you so much for your pleasant attitude and kindness! It does not go unnoticed!

Great job on the price. Although, you can tell those workers know they're getting paid by the hour and not by car completed. I waited over 4hrs for a fix on an alignment that I had just got two weeks before and a check on a faulty tire that I got a month before. Thats terrible. I guess I got what I paid for.

I have been a loyal customer for many years. I started using Discount Tire in Long Beach then moving to Palm Springs. Now I use the Tire Shop in Cat. City. They do a wonderful job and great prices.

April 10, 2025, I have just come back from Discount Tire in Cat City. Everyone there is new and not very helpful! The new manager Joseph Simonds is not someone I would want in my employment! When I walked in I asked him if he was the manager. He said yes, and I said another new manager? His replay was I do not want to hear it from you. I have answered that question over and over. What an attitude, and with a customer at that! If I were his boss and heard that, he would have been fired on the spot.
In looking at the service center paperwork and I asked for a Front end alignment,aand the paper work indicates I don't have an alignment policy. I paid for a life time alignment for this car many years ago. the bill in which I received is confusing to say the least.
This is the eight manager I have dealt with at this location in the many years I have be going to Discount Tire in Cat City. I'm now trying to locate another store but it seems its in Yucaipa.
For those of you looking for a auto service
center PLEASE do not use the Cat City location.
I hope that Discount Tire Head Office gets this review, reads it and does something about the issues. If you look at you records you have my home number and I would like to hear from you ASAP!

Moved near Cathedral City recently. Honored warranty on tires for CO Discount Tires though a separate corp. Rotated tires, recommended a good nearby restaurant to eat. Were pleasant and helpful. Changed the oil. No extra charges beyond oil change. Good operation.

My little fiat runs like a new car again. New tires, struts, and basic service make it such a fun ride I'm going to take it up the 74 in sport mode.
They also pointed out a couple of things they said I needed to be aware of that might need work soon.

Pot holes on CA freeways are impossible to miss. This place fixed the suspension on my last car perfectly, and the fixed my alignment on the current car. Gladly it was only an alignment this time.
They have been great each time. But, it is best to make an appointment first.

I recently visited Discount Tire Center in Cathedral City (store #55).
I would like to take this time to acknowledge several employees at this location. Noah - I was greeted with nothing but professionalism. Noah is very courteous and proficient in his job. Noah is the example of a good Management. Next employee I would like to acknowledge is Jim. Jim is very good at what he does. He is proficient and knowledgeable and extremely patient. He really cares about the service that he renders and I believe he is a asset to Discount Tire Center. Last but not least, I would like to acknowledge Santos. Santos worked on my vehicle and I am very pleased at his competence and expertise as a service employee. He was courteous, respectful and he completed the work order ahead of time. I would just like to say, all of the employees at this location exemplify the level of professionalism that is rare and very welcomed in this day and age. Please acknowledge them for all of their hard work and professionalism.

Great customer service, I came in on Thursday February 15th during a visit time and they were able to assist me - Tammara took the tire off my vehicle and her team patched my tire as I had a leak. Tammara was knowledgeable and provided me with options. There was no pressure for me to purchase new tires but was given quotes that would benefit me. I made an appointment for February 19th. I was able to come in and purchase four new tires, got an alignment and an oils change. Extremely professional environment and very helpful.

I went in with no appointment and a flat tire on a dually truck, within 45 minutes I was back on the road. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, every customer who came in while we were there got prompt service and seemed happy with the work done and cost of service.
I would definitely go back for tires and service, not to mention that there is really good Mexican ice cream right across the street!

Prices much less than dealership prices for about the same work done. My Lexus ES350 price bill was less than the Lexus Dealership, including the cabin air filters and full synthetic oil change. Very good customer service!!! Come see what services the offer and compare prices! Shop around before you go straight to the dealership.
